Caerphilly 2K 2017
18 June 2017
The Caerphilly 2k is set to return on Sunday 18th June along with the Caerphilly 2k.
With 500 runners of all abilities expected to descend on Caerphilly from across the country to enjoy the event, organisers are hoping that this year's event will be bigger and better.
Set in the shadow of the spectacular Caerphilly Castle, the Caerphilly 10k will both start and finish on Crescent Road. Runners will have the opportunity to run a good time on a relatively flat course with some undulating points. The course will lead participants in and around the town centre, passing iconic landmarks including the giant cheese sculpture and Tommy Cooper statue along the way and offering great views of the medieval castle, which dominates as the stunning backdrop to the event.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE EVENT RULES and REGULATIONS DOCUMENT
The event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council and is supported by Welsh Athletics, Run Wales and Sport Wales.
