Caerphilly 10k 2021
16 May 2021
The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k is set to return on Sunday 16th May 2021 along with the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 2k.
Set in the shadow of the spectacular Caerphilly Castle, the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k will both start and finish on Crescent Road. Runners will have the opportunity to run a good time on a relatively flat course with some undulating points. The course will lead participants in and around the town centre, passing iconic landmarks including the giant cheese sculpture and Tommy Cooper statue along the way and offering great views of the medieval castle, which dominates as the stunning backdrop to the event.

The course records were set by Matthew Clowes of Cardiff Athletic Club who passed the finish line at an amazing 30 minutes and 22 seconds in 2019 and Rachel Felton of Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers who crossed the line in a record time of 35 minutes and 1 seconds, also in 2019. Many elite and competitive entrants are expected to try and take on the record for 2021.
The event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council and is supported by Welsh Athletics, Run Wales and Sport Wales. (Company and Unaffiliated group entries of 10 or more will receive a 10% discount when reaching the checkout).
