New name
20 May 2018
The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k is set to return on Sunday 20th May 2018 along with the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 2k.
Set in the shadow of the spectacular Caerphilly Castle, the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k will both start and finish on Crescent Road. Runners will have the opportunity to run a good time on a relatively flat course with some undulating points. The course will lead participants in and around the town centre, passing iconic landmarks including the giant cheese sculpture and Tommy Cooper statue along the way and offering great views of the medieval castle, which dominates as the stunning backdrop to the event.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE EVENT RULES and REGULATIONS DOCUMENT
The course record was set by Owain Jones in 2016 who passed the finish line at an amazing 31 minutes and 03 seconds and many elite and competitive entrants are expected to try and take on the record for 2018.
The event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council and is supported by Welsh Athletics, Run Wales and Sport Wales.
